There is no quick and easy way to lose weight. Any claims of products that state that you can lose weight effortlessly are false. However the best and only proven way is to burn more calories than you intake coupled with exercise and good eating habits for successful weight loss.
For those that believe they will lose weight successfully if they load up on a particular nutrient and/or avoid unhealthy foods must remember that they may still gain weight. This is possible because every nutrient and every food item (healthy or unhealthy) contains calories. Most importantly, these individuals are susceptible to becoming malnourished since they are not eating a variety of foods that contains all of the essential nutrients required for a healthy nutrition. And a healthy nutrition is vital for successful weight loss. Please remember that healthy eating means eating a variety of foods in moderation instead of eating a particular food item that contains a particular nutrient (such as carbohydrates).
For individuals that believe that they will lose weight by eating very little food are in for a rude awakening. Instead they will lower their metabolism since their body will need to conserve energy due to a low supply of food and essential nutrients. And we all know that weight loss occurs by increasing your metabolism instead of lowering it. So please eat a variety of foods in moderation instead of starving yourself. Remember the best way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you intake coupled with exercise and good (not bad) eating habits.
Now lets discuss my favorite topic: diets. How many people you know go on a diet and within a week or two they are off of the diet. Does this sound familar! Well the truth is that many diets fail. They fail because almost all of them are a combination of starvation and no exercise. Yes, people who participate in low-calorie diets rarely exercise. Likewise, they eat very little food, lower their metabolism during the process, lose muscle mass, suffer from fatigue, and afterwards quit their diet by overeating. Now they are in worse shape than before because of their lower metabolic rate. Thus, they will gain more weight easily. Then they will start the "weight loss disaster" cycle (diet, overeat, and gain more weight) all over again. This process can be described as the "Yo-Yo" effect.
Once again, there is no easy and quick way to lose weight. You must eat right, exercise, and burn more calories than you intake!
